Professional Staff of Drivers
Our longest tenured CDL, Henry Brito, has been with the company for 42 years. Henry has decided to “pull back on the reigns” and work part time….deservingly so! I challenge anyone to find a professional driver who has a longer tenure with the same company. Cheers Henry! Our second most tenured CDL driver is Tony. Tony has been with us since 2004. He was with his previous company for 32 years! Ask Tony what the most important aspect of driving a “big rig”….Safety will be his answer. Lady Romona, another CDL A driver was with us several years ago and decided she wanted to try the long haul business. She missed us so much; she decided to come back to Mile Hi Express in the middle of 2007. Of course, we welcomed her back with open arms. Daniel, Kenny and Ronald drive our refrigerated straight trucks along the front range of Denver. If you’ve ever driven a bobtail, you know how hard these guys work…..just ask Daniel about unloading a pallet of tile on a lift gate! Big Ed (a.k.a….”Ogre”) has been with the company since the beginning of 2007. If you’ve met Ed, you know that he is a big teddy bear. His claim to fame is eating 7 portions of steak at the “all you eat buffet” at Perry’s Truck Stop! Now that’s impressive! If you have any product going up the I-70 Corridor to Grand Junction, it will be Chip hauling your product. We refer to him as our “Mountain Warrior”! He’s got all kinds of crazy life experiences…just ask him sometime. We ask our drivers to be professional and courteous to all the consignees into which we deliver! Because of their continuous professional obligation to our valued consignee customer base, we continually strive to be well respected and appreciated as a company amongst our peers! Our drivers are extremely happy working at Mile Hi Express and are an integral part of the company family. When it comes down to it, our employees are responsible for the success we strive to achieve…they make it happen!
